Megan Dolan
Megan Dolan has been practicing law in Oregon since 2006. Her primary focus has been employment litigation. She has effectively litigated employment cases since 2006 in both state and federal courts. In 2015, Ms. Dolan was selected as a “Rising Star” by Superlawyers to the Oregon Rising Stars list. Selection to the list is based on independent third party research and peer evaluations and is an honor reserved for no more than 2.5% of lawyers in the state for lawyers who exhibit excellence in practice.
Ms. Dolan represents employees and employers with issues arising in the workplace including discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, sexual harassment, hostile work environment, family medical leave, whistleblowing, injured workers’ rights (such as workers’ compensation discrimination), wage and hour issues, workplace health & safety, employment agreements, unemployment issues and civil rights violations. In addition to these areas of focus, Ms. Dolan represents clients in other areas of general civil litigation. In addition to litigation, Ms. Dolan also has experience in arbitration, administrative proceedings, appeals, mediation, and negotiation.
Ms. Dolan graduated from the University of Oregon in 1998 with a B.A. in Anthropology and International Studies. In 2006, she received her law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law. From 2006 to 2015, she was an associate attorney for the employment law firm of Dolan Griggs LLP. In 2015, Ms. Dolan started the employment law firm of Dolan Law Group PC with her father, Martin Dolan, and sister, Caitlin Dolan.
Ms. Dolan is a member of the Oregon State Bar. Ms. Dolan is admitted to practice in both state and federal courts in Oregon. She also has been admitted to practice law in Washington on a case-by-case basis (pro hac vice). Ms. Dolan is a member of Oregon Women Lawyers (OWLS) and the Multnomah Bar Association (MBA).
